Grading policy

Spanish Department

CLASSROOM PARTICIPATION: 20%

Notes in class, respect for the instructional time, respectful language, completing assignments on the due date in Vista Higher Learning/Google Classroom, and respect for the teacher and classmates.

Formative Assessments: 30%

Classroom discussions, questions related to the lesson in the target language (Spanish), group work, weekly Quizzes (Instant check, recording, tutorial videos, do now, etc.

Summative Assessments: 50%

Instructor Exam (Ms. Alcorn), Standardized exam according to comprehension in the target language (Spanish), final projects for each Marking Period, and Final exam.

FINAL GRADE: If the student meets all the categories 100%
