Message from the Principal

Dear Class of 2020,

This has been a year of tremendous challenges throughout the world due to the health crisis. As a microcosm of the world, the JKO community has, and continues, to endure the challenges associated with virtual instruction and a lock down. As uneasy as it may make many of us, there is one thing that provides the Administrative Team and me with great hope for our country’s future; our 2020 graduates beginning to create roads where no one has traveled. We have come to know this senior class as one with vast potential and talent.

It gives the Administrative Team and me great pride and gratification to wish you congratulations as you graduate from JKO, especially during these trying times. Undoubtedly all of you will make a great choices that fit your aspirations in life and go on to accomplish great things. As C.S. Lewis once said, “Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny.” As the class of 2020, your future will be uniquely shaped and defined by this crisis in a positive way in that you are all stronger and bolder to take steps that require courage…steps that lead you to an extraordinary destiny. We are all very proud of you. Class of 2020, congratulations.

Best wishes always,

Mr. Vincent, Mr. Williams, and Mr. Ureña
